An annotated graphic booklet and physical model representing the movements and nonverbal interactions of three people proceeding through a revolving door, analyzed at four snapshots in time.
Each snapshot in time has four pages. The first page shows each person’s position and movement in the physical model. The second page shows a plan cut of the model, overlaid onto a grid that abstracts the positions and paths of each person. The third page diagrams each person’s current personal space on the plan view, and diagrams their projected personal space through time, based on their walking speed, in section views. The fourth page diagrams the nonverbal interactions between the people, showing their unspoken acknowledgments and agreements in the plan view and their lines of sight in the section views.
